The build quality is outstanding. Power is 50/15/5 on both bands and is easy to operate with everything on the mic as the faceplate. The programming can be done with the software provided or CHIRP. This is my choice for the beginner mobile with a quality dual band antenna. The RX frequency range is 118–174 and 375– 550MHz. The MARS Mod is simple too.. expands both bands on the TX. Really can’t beat what this radio has to offer for the price.

No issues with the radio excellent modulation everyone says it’s very clear and loud. I must say the radio takes some getting used to a lot of buttons. But like anything, if you take your time you can figure it out.
